My Prima Guest Designer Reveal
Part One
"A Perfect Moment"

Hi there lovelies, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have an extra special layout as I am
"Guest Designer" over on the Prima blog, and thats
something that doesn't happen everyday !! Well not to me anyway.

Thanks to Prima for having me as part of their Guest Design Team
two years in a row. I really appreciate it.

I have done a vintage layout and it features my great grandmother
(with an original photo too). The papers from the Prima Love Clippings
Collection were just made for my precious photo, I think. A perfect match!

I have done some mixed-media on my background, but kept that to a minimum to let
the photo and the foiled paper be the star attractions. As you can see, I have added a
beautiful bow and even some dangling chains along with some gorgeous roses
 to complete the look."

I have also used some gorgeous pieces of 2Crafty chipboard
which I have heat embossed in bronze.

These photos are not the best but it is really hard to photograph
really shiney papers & these are really metallic !!

Prima Products Used..
"Love Clippings Collection" - Little Love Notes paper #992026
"Love Clippings Collection" - All of Me Loves all of You paper #9920040

My 2Crafty Chipboard May DT Reveal
Part Two
"Adventure"

Hi there lovelies, here we are again with yet another reveal. I decided I would do
something I have never done before, I have gone with an ALL BOY theme for both
my 2Crafty DT layouts this month & both have featured my cute little grandson, Henry.

Now you have to look closely at the photos to see he is wearing an old fashioned
avaitors hat & goggles & he is sitting in a cardboard box with a propeller on the front of it.
How CUTE is that !!
So I thought I would make my layout a little bit vintage.

 2Crafty Chipboard Used
Biplane
Adventuire - loopy font
Steampunk Gears - small
Steampunk Gears - medium
Giant Gears

To start off with I have used one of the hundreds of titles that 2Crafty have.
I heat embossed it with some Lindy's Stamp Gang embossing powder & then
wiped it over with little bit of bronze Viva Paste.

Now I have used three different size 2Crafty cogs on my layout.
I used the "Steampunk Gears - small", as well as the "Steampunk Gears - medium"
& then added a couple of "Giant Gears".

I thought my layout had a bit of a steampunk vibe !!

I think the standout piece of chippie on this layout definitely has to be
this little old fashioned "Biplane" which I just left raw. I LOVE this piece.

For all the cogs & gears I heat embossed them in a gold coloured embossing powder first
followed by a sprinkling of copper coloured embossing powder & I just re heated it.
I like how they turned out.

Well thats all from me today.
See you back here with more real soon.

If you like my layout I would love you to leave me a comment.
I always enjoy feedback

Until then

My May 2Crafty DT Reveal
Part One
"Live Out Loud"

Hi there lovelies, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have part one of my May DT reveal for 2Crafty Chipboard.
This layout  features my cute little Grandson Henry.
This was his first "dress up" birthday party he had been to
& as you can see his Mummy dressed him up as a little pirate.
Lucky that sword is plastic !!

2Crafty Chipboard Used...
Live Out Loud Title
Chevron Bits
Triangle Clusters

First up I used this great title, "Live Out Loud" because I thought it was quite fitting
for these pics. I painted it in red acrylic paint followed by a coat of Glossy Accents.
Haven't used that stuff in ages but it definitely makes this title stand out.

I have also used a few "Chevron Bits" which I heat embossed black.
I think they give my layout structure.

I have coloured the background with some Lindy's Stamp Gang
"Midnight Rendezvous Raven" & done loads & loads of stamping.

I think the star chippie piece on my layout is definitely the "Triangle Clusters".

I just love how they look on this layout.
I simply inked them in black ink, doesn't get much simpler than that !

A hint of yellow by way of a flower & a sprinkling
of enamel dots & hey presto, all finished.

I hope I have inspired you to try some fabulous 2Crafty
chippie pieces on your next boy layout. They have a massive
amount of things for boy layouts. Pop over to their website
& check them all out.

Back in a day or so with another boy layout.
Until then.

Hello there, thanks for stopping by. Today I have another layout to show you that I created
as part two of my May DT reveal for 49 and Market.

"Wings & Things" Layered 3D embellishments. It was actually a circular frame
& I cut it into several pieces and have placed them underneath the flowers below the photos
& I have also placed a couple of pieces above the photos too. I just love these.

I have also used some of their new "Mixology Flowers". I used both the white & the pink
ones here. These are a great flower pack because they come with all different shapes & sizes
in one colour. Perfect for clustering. I have also used some of their lavender "Roses" too.

I have also used a couple of butterflies & a little bird nest and & bird,
all from the 3D embellishments.

I did some background stamping using stamps from both the
"Gabbi's Postcard From Paris" as well as the "Gabbi's Crackle & Texture"
  stamp sets.

A few finishing touches with some lovely pieces of 2Crafty Chipboard .
All finished.

My 49 and Market May DT Reveal
Part One
"Perfection"

Hello there, thanks for stopping by.
Today I have a layout to share with you that I created with some of the
fabulous newly released paper collection called "Looking Through"
from 49 and Market. This particular one is the "Lilac" paper.
Don't you just love those little fairies.

See a full product list at the end of this post.

I have used various 49 and Market flowers on this layout starting of with one of the
"Garden Vines" in alabaster but I sprayed it this gorgeous shade of green with
some Lindy's Stamp Gang spray. I also cut the vine in to two pieces.

How beautiful does the green vine look in amongst all the different shades of lavender flowers.
I also used some of their lavender "Roses" as well as some of the new
"Vintage Shades - Orchid Bloom".
In this photo you can see that the vines have fabulous tendrils & leaves.
They are so real looking when added in amongst all the other flowers.

I have also used some lovely pieces of 2Crafty Chipboard.

Next I would like to point out the stamp I used to do some background stamping with.
It is definitely my new favourite stamp. It is called "Gabbi's Scripted Squared Stamp "
This stamp is designed by the super talented Gabrielle Pollocco.

I adore green & lavender together, it is such a lovely colour combo.

Lastly you can see in this closeup shot those gorgeous fairies on the
paper as well as the other lovely details.
