(click on pic to enlarge)

Here is the current sketch & mood board.
You can draw inspiration from anything at all on the board,
It might be one thing or it might be several things.
You don't have to stick to the colours just be inspired by something
on it & the sketch is optional too.

I have chosen my colours from the mood board & naturally
I have used lots of my favourite 2 Crafty chipboard
including this fab title "Love".

I have followed the sketch.
I always love a good sketch.

Love these colours from the mood board.

Lots of background treatments here. I have been practicing
again with my new Gelatos. Rather pleased with the result.
Some Green Tara Washi Tapes.
All of the chipboard I have used on this layout is from

Well I hope I have inspired you to join in this months challenge at

Until next time.

My September Green Tara Design Team Reveal
Part One
"Sweet Girl"

Hi there, thanks for calling by.
Today I have part one of my September Green Tara design team reveal
to show you.

On this layout I have used some of their 6cm petals in daffodil yellow as
the main feature in my cluster. I actually created this flower
by layering two 6cm petals in daffodil yellow on top of
each other & next I harvested this great "middle" out of yet another
Green Tara flower, & that was an "Aster-Batik".
So by combining the two together a new flower evolved.

In this pic you can see  I have also added some lovely bright
orange "Chrysanthemums" as well, & I have sprayed one of the
NEW "Azelea" flowers with some aqua Dylusions spray to
make it just the right colour I was after.
It is so easy to colour these flowers.
I have also added a bow made from their gorgeous
"Spotted Organza Ribbon" in aqua as well as a
couple of their "Skeleton Leaves" too.

I finished off with some of their yellow & orange
"Roses" & some gold "mini flowers".

I have also added a strip of one of the NEW Green Tara
"Washi Tapes" to the bottom corner of my layout.
All of these great chipboard pieces are from
Until next time.

CSI
Case File #90
"All Because Two People Fell In Love"

Hello there, thanks for calling by.
Today I have my layout for the current case file #90 over on the CSI blog.
One of the prompts was to journal about a friend, so that is what I have based
my layout on. My "BFF", my husband Chris who is my very BEST friend
& I  thought this photo of us, that was taken recently would be perfect.

  (click on pic to enlarge)

Love these colours, so that part was easy.

For my "Testimony" I have journalled about my husband being
my absolute "B.F.F." I have know  him since I was twelve
& I just couldn't imagine life without him.
I do love him more today than I did the day I married him,
forty years ago.

This little tag just slips in behind the photo.

For my "Evidence" I have used six things...
1. Polka Dots
2.  Stripes
3.  Heart
4.  I tied some fibre on my tag
5.  White Space
6. Two different alphabets in my title

All of my gorgeous chipboard, including my title, chevrons, 2013 date,
heart, mini flourish & filmstrip are all from 2 Crafty Chipboard.

Well that wraps up yet another great case file.
Until next time.

My 2 Crafty September Design Team Post
PLUS
13 Arts Challenge
"Love"

Hello friends, thanks for calling by.
Today I have this layout to show you that I have done as part of my
2 Crafty chipboard design team post for September
along with two others.

I have based this on the current challenge over on the
13 Arts blog which is this sketch plus you have to
use a minimum of two mediums & two stamps.

I created this background by firstly applying gesso followed by
applying texture paste to two different stencils,
followed with three different colours of glimmermist.
Next I have stamped using three different stamps.
All of this was to fit the challenge criteria.

I have used lots of my favourite 2 Crafty chipboard including
this title "Love-loopy font".

I have also used this fabulous "Morrocan Screen"  as well as a
"Valentine Heart". Both of these pieces are from the
latest release from 2 Crafty.

Lots of background treatments.

I have also handmade this little wreath from some
wired cord from Green Tara & added a few of their
flowers too.

Well thats all for today, hope you like my layout,
& for any comments you care to leave.

Until next time.

My Green Tara Design Team Reveal
Part Two
"Sweet Girl"

Hi there friends. I just popped by to share part two of my
Green Tara design team reveal for this month.
I have been playing with my new "Gelatos" & created this
background. This is actually a piece of white cardstock but
I was really happy with the transformation.

In amongst all the layers of paper I have popped in
various pieces of Green Tara lace.
They have so many to choose from, this is just a few.
I have actually coloured up the lace using the Gelatos.
I wasn't sure how colouring the lace with Gelatos would go,
but I am happy to say that it worked a treat. Too easy.

Taking centre stage on my layout, second to the photo,
is this fabulous "Spotted Organza Ribbon" which I have
simply tied a bow with. I think this ribbon is just so striking.

I have also used some Green Tara fabric flowers,
"Primala", "Heirloom" & a "Satin Rosette",
& I have added a few "Roses" as well.

Both my title & flourishes are from 2 Crafty chipboard.

Well thats all for today.
Until next time.

My Green Tara Design Team Reveal
Part One
"Today"

Hi there friends, thanks for stopping by. Today I have part one of my
monthly design team reveal for "Green Tara".
Green Tara now carry a huge range of Washi Tapes so I thought I
would showcase just a few a few on this layout.

This title is from 2 Crafty Chipboard.

These pics were taken on my birthday recently & I haven't got around
to scrapping them & thought the colours would work with this layout.

Naturally I have used lots of sweet little Green Tara blooms
as well as some of their fabulous autumn leaves too.

Lovin' their new Washi Tapes & as well here you can see
I have added a little of their black Cobweb Mesh too.

Well thats all for today, I will be back soon with part two !!!
Until then, thanks for calling by &
for any comments you may care to leave.
