Hi there, thanks for stopping by. I really have been chasing my
tail all month & I am so far behind that I almost forgot to post
my DT layout for White With One for their April challenge.
Oooops. Sorry. This months challenge is....
White  +  Yellow  + Plus this sketch.

I have flipped it over & turned it upside down.

Lots of beautiful 2 Crafty chipboard  including this sweet little
hanging garden sign, title-Sweet Child of Mine & also this cute
little hedgehog that is peeking out from behind my bottom
flower cluster.

Lots of background treatments.

Love this title.

Finishing off with some flowers including  some beauties from
Green Tara as well as their ever popular & my all time favourite
ribbon.

Thanks for taking the time to call by & I hope you can play along
in this months challenge too. You have until the 6th May.

My April Green Tara DT Reveal
"Forever"

Hello there, thanks for calling by.
Today I have one of my layouts I have done for my April
Green Tara DT reveal, all of which are currently on their blog.
Click HERE to see the rest.

I have challenged myself to step out of my comfort zone &
do some more "modern" & "minimilist" layouts.
As anyone who is familiar with my work knows my style
is more "shabby chic". Well I think I have met my
criteria I set for myself & I have to say I am rather
pleased with the outcome & will definitely be doing more
of this style I think !!!!

On this layout I have used some beautiful Green Tara goodies
including this black "Cobweb Mesh". Love this stuff & it comes
in lots of great colours too.

I have also used some of their black
"Silk Flowers with Swarovski Crystal Centres"
& finished off with some of their black & yellow "Roses" &
finally some of their black "Skeleton Leaves".

Until next time.

My "Once Upon A Sketch" April Challenge
"You"

Hello there, thanks for stopping by. Today I have a layout to share
with you that I based on the current challenge over at

As well as using this sketch, this months theme is
"The Best Day Ever".

This photo is a dear friend of mines daughter & it
was taken on her sixteenth birthday.
When you turn sixteen you think you are so grown up,
she really thought it was her "best day ever".

I have journalled on the back of the layout
& I have placed it inside this clock face.
I think this clock is symbolic
of time.

I have challenged myself to step out of my comfort zone &
do some more "modern" & "minimilist" layouts.
As anyone who is familiar with my work knows my style
is more "shabby chic". Well I think I have met my
criteria I set for myself & I have to say I am rather
pleased with the outcome & will definitely be doing more.

I have started off with one of these watery backgrounds that
my good friend Kim Price is so famous for.

This layout was also part of my April DT reveal over on the
Green Tara blog so naturally I have used lots of fabulous
Green Tara goodies including this gorgeous black & white
Herringbone ribbon that I have tied this bow with.

Some of the new Green Tara Burlap Trim in black.

Green Tara Roses & Suede Cord.

And of course lots of great 2 Crafty chippies including
this title "You". Love this font.

2 Crafty Gears & Cogs, assorted Arrows &
some of their mini Filmstrips.

Thanks for calling by.
Until next time.

My April 2 Crafty Chipboard
DT Reveal Part #2

Hi bloggers. Thanks for calling by.
Today I have part two of my DT reveal for April for
This time I thought I would do a boy page,
just for a change !!! I started of with lots of yummy
textures on my background. I always like lots of texture
on boy pages.

Naturally I have used lots of great 2 Crafty chipboard products
including some of their Gears & Cogs.

I have also used on of their new word titles,
"Live Out Load". So appropriate for this
little guy.

Next up I have used one of their "Mini Rulers" as well as some
of their "Barbed Wire" & a few arrows from their
"Assorted Arrows Pack".

Lastly I finished up with one of their "2012"  which come in
a multi pack. These are great as it makes  your date into an
embellishment. Different years are available too.

I have also added some great Green Tara Autumn leaves too.
These are great, especially on boy layouts where
you don't want to use flowers.

That just about wraps it up.
Until next time.

My April 2 Crafty Chipboard
DT Reveal
Part #1.

Hello everyone, thanks for calling by.
Today I have part one of my DT reveal
for my April post for 2 Crafty Chipboard,

I used some of their NEW release pieces. Firstly I used this  beautiful
chippie "Floral Branches", these are definitely my new fave.
I love the detail that is engraved into the chipboard so even
when you have put gesso, inks & paints on it, the detail still
shows through. I added some Green Tara roses & some vine
to add to the whole tree theme.

I also used one of the new 2 Crafty chippie word titles,
"Forever".

A little misting, stamping, distressing & fussy cutting &
 hey presto all done.

Pop over & visit the 2 Crafty blog to see what
the other DT girls have been up to.

Until next time.

Scrapbooking Memories Chipboard Feature
"Treasured Memories"

Hi everyone, just popped in to share this layout that was in a
"chipboard feature" in  Scrapbooking Memories magazine
in early March. The article was all about doing different things
with chipboard. Myself & some of the 2 Crafty DT girls
had some layouts in the feature. This was mine.

Naturally I used lots of 2 Crafty chipboard & did lots of altering.
The picture above is some of their little Banners that I did a makeover on.
You would barely recognise them. Thats the beauty of chippies.

This pic shows a heart from one of their multi packs, made over of course.

I finished off with one of their titles.
All of these pieces were altered with various mediums, mesh, foil tape,
mists, paints, seed beads, buttons etc & naturally I had to add some
Green Tara flowers to finish off with.

Until next time.
